Detonations were heard on October 17, 1921 at 11:00 pm, after the appearance of a brilliant meteor moving NNW to SSE of the NE portion of the lower peninsula. The next day three stones of 3.25 lbs (1.5 kg), 7 lbs (3.2 kg), and 13 lbs (5.9 kg) were found about 9 miles NE of Rose City.
